IWLA is a trade association of warehouse logistics providers that helps members run high-quality, profitable businesses. IWLA focuses on the warehouse logistics business, providing ideas and information that make it easier for member companies to succeed. IWLA has been in existence since 1891 and is the leading warehouse trade association. The more than 500 member companies provide a wide range of logistics services including warehousing, transportation, value-added services, consulting and much more. Our primary role is to help our members succeed in an increasingly challenging business environment. We reduce our members’ costs and increase their resources through programs, products and services that are exclusive to IWLA membership. IWLA also funds research and training programs to advance business practices of the warehouse logistics industry. IWLA is devoted to communicating the value of outsourcing the warehousing function, and the many services that are provided by IWLA members. Countless time is spent each year crisscrossing the United States, Canada and other countries discussing the warehouse industry and the benefits of logistics outsourcing. IWLA is also a potent lobbying force with governmental entities, educating policy-makers on industry-related issues.
